If you’re unsure about your future in nature conservation, our career guidance course can help. Designed for young school leavers, it offers personalized guidance, mentorship, and workshops to help you find your way.

Our course empowers you to explore your strengths, interests, and career goals, providing you with knowledge of various conservation fields for a fulfilling career. It also offers practical experience in activities like tree identification, marksmanship, obstacle courses, and more.

Course Activities

Course Details

The balance of the tuition fees is due before the course start date.

Language

Afrikaans (English-speaking students welcome if they understand Afrikaans). No special subjects or nature knowledge are required to enrol in the course. Students only need to be able to read, learn, and write

  • Certificate of Attendance
  • For boys and girls aged 14-19
  • The course fee for 2024 is R7,450.00
  • The course can accommodate only 24 students
  • The spots for the first 24 students who provide a registration form and a 50% deposit to Gameways will be reserved

The course takes place on a game farm just outside Steenbokpan, 65 km from Ellisras (Lephalale) in the Limpopo province. (Facilities may be moved)

Transportation is available from OR Tambo Airport and a central point in Pretoria (R1,450 return fare, subject to a minimum level of interest)
